PIPELINE
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Research
and development, within the realm of the pharmaceutical industry,
is a two-part process. Research is the creative means of discovering
a new knowledge or system designed to produce a new drug/service
or improve on an existing drug/service. Development is the
translation of research findings into an actual drug/service.
At Samaritan
Pharmaceuticals our mission has been to create life-saving
drugs for people suffering from AIDS, Alzheimer’s, heart
disease and cancer. Samaritan’s drug research and development,
which brings our mission to fruition, is performed at McGill
University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada through a collaborative
partnership agreement between Samaritan and the university.
